SCRIPTURE READING | ESTHER 2: 1-17
When Esther was preferred ahead of the other contestants, she was preferred to the best place of the house of the women. Esther was quartered in the best apartment that any of those young maidens would have ever stayed in. So others got good apartments but Esther got the best. Others got what was good enough, but Esther got what was outstanding. Others got good deals but Esther got the best deal ever.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the best shall come to you; the best opportunities shall come to you; the best treatment shall be give to you; the best offers will come to you; the best positions will be given to you; the best doors shall be opened to you; the best business deals shall come to you; the best shall be given to you on a platter of gold; the best portions shall locate you; the best things that life can offer shall come to you.
Esther did not lobby to be preferred or given the best place; she probably had never seen Hegai all her life; all she did was to show up, and she was given the best. Hear me as I hear the Lord: even when you do not lobby to have the best, by the force of favour, the best shall come your way; as soon as you show up, favour will command men to give you the best; as soon as you show up, the best will run to you where you are.
Esther did not only get the best when she came to Hegai; she also got the best when she went in to meet King Ahasuerus. So she got the best at each new turn. She did not move from getting the best to getting the worst. Hear me as I hear the Lord: it will never be said that you began with the best and ended with the worst; you will not move from grace to grass; you will not move from rising to falling; you will not move forward and backward.
Ask the Lord to make you a beneficiary of the best. Ask the Lord to give you the best at each new turn.
DECLARE WITH ME
The best shall come to me, in Jesus’ name!
