SCRIPTURE READING | ESTHER 2: 1-17
Our Focal Scripture reveals that Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus in the tenth month, which was also known as the month Tebeth. According to bible scholars, the name ‘Tebeth’ derives from an Akkadian term meaning ‘sinking’. So ‘Tebeth’ is synonymous with sinking. So Esther was taken to the King at the time of ‘Sinking’. The timing of Esther’s opportunity was ‘Sinking’.
Notice that Esther had already found favour with everyone who saw her. She was also favoured in the sight of the King who gave her a crown. The fact that the timing of her opportunity was ‘Sinking’ did not stop her favour. The fact that the environment of her visitation seemed unfavourable did not stop her from being favoured. Her environment did not stop her favour.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your environment will not stop your favour. The haters of destiny that you are surrounded with cannot stop your day of divine visitation. The policies of men will not turn back the hands of the clock when God is set to make you smile. The wicked gossip of those who do not want your progress will not stop your favour from manifesting. The favour on your life will overpower every negativity.
Don’t lose sleep on account of those who have predicted that you will not go far; don’t lose sleep on account of the negative policies that are being targeted at you. The same God who allowed Esther to be lifted in the month of Tebeth will also cause you to be lifted no matter the negative establishments that have been made against you. The favour on you will manifest even if the entire universe unites against your lifting.
Focus on the God who specializes in lifting the lowly, and He will lift you like He lifted Esther.

What I have shall be enough in the time of my lifting, in Jesus’ name!
