Saturday 9th March ~ DELIBERATE CHOICES

“Let us go we pray thee, unto jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make a Place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go Ye. “(2 Kings 6 vs 2). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.

In Today’s Focal Scripture, the Sons of the Prophet decided to go to Jordan and cut the wood for the new house they wanted to build. They decided to go to Jordan in order to realize their dream of building a bigger house. Jordan was a place where they were going to find Wood they needed for the new house.

So, Jordan wasn’t a random choice. It was a deliberate and well thought out choice that was in line with their dreams. It was a choice and decision they made for the sake of their dreams. It was a choice they had to make in order to see their dreams come to fruition.

Friend, glean yet another lesson from the sons of the Prophets: Make deliberate choices that will help you fulfil your destiny. Make deliberate choices that would help you attain the heights that you desire to attain in your career. Be deliberate about your choices.

Destiny isn’t a matter of chance, its a matter of choice. Choices actually show what we truly are, far more than our abilities. We are direct products of our Choices. Every great man is made by their choice not necessarily by the Powers they are endowed with.

Be deliberate in reaching out to people who will help your dreams. Read books, attend seminars and conferences and listen to people who will improve your capacity to deliver excellent results.

Beloved, always remember that if you refuse to be deliberate about your choices, that is also a choice, that will push you down a slippery slope at an alarming speed, an imminent crash is inevitable. Deliberate choices are the hinges of destiny!

Every deliberate positive choice is a bigger house in the making!

Pray with me, “Lord, help me to make choices that will help my dreams and destiny in Jesus name”.
